CHILDREN:  With new homes comes more young people, yay!  Please drive slowly.  There will be laughter and fun and running around–so, be on the lookout for darting children or perhaps a ball or two.  (Remember we were all kids at one time and wasn’t it great?) Let’s make this a safe place for them.
DOGS:  We all love dogs and dogs love all this land to run around.  BUT, remember that dogs must be on a leash or be accompanied by an owner who can control the dog.  And dogs must learn to share the area with others. They really shouldn’t go to neighbors’ yards without being invited.  We have lots of children at play, runners, bikers, and horseback riders who want to enjoy the neighborhood sans barking, growling or being chased by dogs. Constant barking is considered a nuisance so don’t forget to shush Fido before neighbors feel they must complain.  FLIP SIDE – It’s nice to be kind to our furry friends too.  If you see a dog on the loose, and you know the owner, feel free to give them a call or stop by to let them know their best friend is out and about.  You may make a new friend in the process.
LANDSCAPING:  We spend lots of time and money to find plants that the deer won’t destroy.  Please be aware that wandering dogs can ruin expensive plantings.
NOXIOUS WEEDS:  We strive to preserve the integrity and diversity of our natural resources and agricultural lands within Remington Ranch and will continue to help our residents through education and assistance in the control of noxious weeds. LEARN MORE
LIGHTS:  Lights on, lights off!  We all know the daytime views here are incredible.  But so are the nighttime views. There’s nothing like our stars on a clear night.  So, unless you need to occasionally light your way, please turn out lights and maybe watch for the Milky Way or a shooting star.  Remember, any of your outdoor lights will shine in your neighbors’ windows which is — a — not so neighborly?  All outdoor lighting is to be directed downward, not up to the sky. Rural Montana, including Red Lodge, has some of the best night skies in the contiguous 48 states, so please help keep it that way. ROADS:  After spring rains and the beginning of summer facelift, roads can dry out very quickly. Please drive slowly as speeding around makes the washboard effect steadily worse until the roads are wet enough to do a fall face lift.  Plus driving fast creates dust which your neighbors may not appreciate.
Let’s think of this as Remington Ranch Park where we can all get out and enjoy nature but leave it better than when we came.
